KWHI, BRENHAM FIRE & POLICE DEPARTMENTS TO HELP RAISE $$$ FOR CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
The Brenham Police and Fire Departments will be taking part in a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network, Thursday afternoon at the Dairy Queen on Highway 290 West in Brenham.
All proceeds from the sale of Dairy Queen Blizzards during the event from 3:00-to-5:00 p.m. will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, benefitting children in the Washington County area.
The Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization, dedicated to raising funds for local children’s hospitals.
The local police and fire departments will be on hand from 3:00-to-5:00 p.m. with a fire truck, fire dog and a police tactical vehicle. Citizens on Patrol will also be there with free finger painting for the kids.
The local Dairy Queen will also be giving away a free bicycle to one luck customer.
Craig Montana will be broadcasting live on KWHI, with the Wagon Wheel of Prizes and the Friendly Country Cruiser.
