LADY LIONS HOST CHAD GERKE TODAY

  

The Washington County Ladies Lions Club will meet today (Monday) to host special guest speaker Chad Gerke from the Gerke Law Firm.

The club will also hear reports on the recent blanket donations and make plans for the delivery of blankets to the veterans in Temple.

Other business includes discussing the purchase of bench in Michael Owsley Memorial Playground and Serenity Garden; the staffing of the rodeo entrance gate at the fair; the results of the Champion Drive and 2017 fair participation; and a report from members who traveled to Houston to attend the Debra Duncan Show on September 22nd.

Lady Lion Pam Zwahr, the outgoing Fair President, will be also be recognized for her successful two year term. The Lady Lions will also hear updates about the installation of the road sign for the club’s Legacy Project.

The meeting will be at noon at the Cannery Kitchen in downtown Brenham.
