LAKE SOMERVILLE RELEASING WATER DUE TO RECENT HEAVY RAINS

  

 Due to heavy rains in the past few weeks, Lake Somerville is releasing water from Gates 1 and 2 at 967 cfs.

The gates have been open and closed at different times during the spring.

Current Level of Lake Somerville is at 239.88 ft. Normal elevation is at 238 ft.

According to Emmitt Attaway, Lake Manager, the gates will be open until the lake levels return to 238 ft, which could be at any time in the near future.
