LONE STAR OPRY HOLDS FINAL SHOW TONIGHT

  

After 24 years, the Lone Star Opry will be lowering the curtain tonight (Monday) after a final farewell concert.

Doug Westerfall, the emcee for the opry, says the Country Music Monday Show has been bringing people to Giddings for the past 18 years:

The final concert will take place at the Giddings High School Cafetorium and will feature performers Sally Carlson, David Lewis, Ken Brothers, Allison Crowson, The Dujka Brothers, and Kenny Orts.

The doors will open at 5:15 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person and children under 12 are free.
