MAN ARRESTED FOR ATTACKING SON
A Brenham man faces an assault charge after his arrest Saturday night.
Officer Sierra Newell was called out just after 7:30 Saturday night to the 2200 block of Highway-290 East in reference to a stabbing.
When she arrived, the victim, a 30-year-old man, was lying on the floor with a knife wound in his abdomen.
The caller said the victim’s father got angry with him and a fight ensued during which the victim was stabbed.
65-year old Michael John McReynolds of Brenham is charged Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon – family violence.
Brenham Police did not release information on the condition of the victim.
