PANTHERS PLEASED OVERALL WITH FIRST SCRIMMAGE

The Burton Panthers scrimmaged at home last night against Hempstead.

The Bobcats scored twice on long touchdown runs, while the Panthers’ only score came on a 53-yard run by tailback Jumon Bradley.

Panther head coach Jason Hodde says he was pleased with his team’s effort, which resulted in minimal penalties and no turnovers.

The Panthers will host Weimar in their second scrimmage, next Friday at 7:00.

The season opener is Friday, September, 28th at Thorndale.
