POLICE FUSION UNIT ARRESTS TWO
Two Brenham men are in custody after seperate arrests by the Brenham Police Department’s Fusion Unit.
Sgt. Carl Wiesepape and Cpl. David Dudenhoffer reported that they observed a wanted man sitting on the front porch of his residence in the 300 block of Lubbock.
The suspect was wanted on a motion to revoke parole. They arrested the suspect, 21-year old Derek Andre Mitchell.
While Mitchell was being booked, a baggie with two two tables of ecstasy was found in his pocket. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance under 4 grams.
The next day, Dudenhoffer, Wiesepape and Cpl. Eddie Ocanas went to the residence of a suspect who had a warrant for his arrest for the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
They located 19-year old Edward Toliver Jr., in the 2000 block of FM 389 and arrested him.
Toliver was taken to the Washington County Jail.
