POLICE REPORT TWO THEFTS OF TIRES AND RIMS
Brenham police report two separate incidents of theft of rims from local residences.
On Tuesday, around 7:15am, Cpl. Tommy Kurie responded to the 1600 Block of S. Market Street in reference to a theft of tires and rims.
Kurie made contact with the owner, who said he had parked his 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck outside his residence at approximately 4:30 on the 16th, and the vehicle was intact.
The owner estimated the rims and tires to be valued between $4,000 and $5,000.
A second theft of rims and tires occurred in the 1300 block of Pecan Street.
In this case, the owner of the Chevrolet Silverado truck estimated the rims and tires were worth approximately $4,500.
Both incidents are under investigation.
