POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN HEMPSTEAD WALMART ROBBERY

  

Hempstead Police are on the lookout for two suspects who robbed a Hempstead Walmart just as it was opening Wednesday morning.

Shortly after the store’s opening at 7am, an armed robber wearing a Halloween mask walked into the store and demanded cash.

The face of the robber was covered by a mask, making identification difficult, but he pointed the gun at several employees, while a second suspect was waiting in a getaway car outside.

One of the employees was able to get a look at the license number, and police say the car, a black, four door Kia sedan, with license plate No DKN 3293, was stolen out of Harris County.

Anyone with any information on this case should contact police.

The suspects got away with about $1000.
