ROUND TOP TO HOST 167th FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Preparations continue for the longest-running continuous Fourth of July celebration west of the Mississippi.
The 167th Round Top Fourth of July Parade & Celebration kicks off on the town square with the firing of the cannon kicking off the parade at 10:30.
Following the annual parade, boneless beef, pork and sausage barbeque will be served at the Rifle Association Hall beginning at 11:30. There will be cold refreshments at the biergarten.
There will also be a moon walk and train rides for the youngsters.
Music will be provided throughout the afternoon by the Round Top Brass Band and the Round Top Jam Session. Cool Freddie and the Crew will also perform.
The annual celebration is sponsored by the Round Top Rifle Association.
