SATURDAY BRENHAM FIRE DEPARTMENT REPORT
Saturday morning at 2:53 am, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire at a residence located at 1904 Northview Circle.
While responding, dispatch advised the fire was in front of the house in the yard. When BFD responders arrived on location there was a small pile of clothing burning in the front yard of the residence.
The fire was extinguished with no other property damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by BFD's Fire Marshal's division.
Friday around 8:35pm, the Brenham Fire Department was dispatched to 2608 Daisy Dr. for a still alarm for a residential automatic fire alarm.
Upon arrival BFD found that the alarm had been activated by a burnt bag of popcorn.
No action was needed.
