SHINER CATHOLIC CHURCH TO HOST 94TH ANNUAL PICNIC
The 94th Annual Fall Picnic of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner will be held on Sunday, September 6th, at the KC Park, at 102 S Ave G in Shiner.
Activities include great food, music and a country auction.
Dinner will be served from 10:30am to 2:00pm at the dining hall, including the famous Shriner picnic stew, sausage and friend chicken with all the trimmings, including a dessert.
Plates to go will be available at the Shiner American Legion Hall, located at Highway 90A east, from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
Tickets are $10.
There will also be dance, starting with local accordion players from 11am to 2pm. Then the Shiner Hobo Band will perform for from 2:00pm until 5pm.
The evening ticket dance will feature The Emotions, from 8:30am to 12:30am. Admission is free for ages 21 and over.
