SLOW CHASE LEADS TO DWI ARREST

  

A 54-year old Brenham woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she led police on a slow chase through downtown Brenham during the pre-dawn hours Wednesday.

Brenham Police Officer Richard Bobbitt saw the woman driving her car near a bar on St. Charles Street at 1:43 Wednesday morning.  She turned on to South Park, going the wrong way on the one-way street, right in front of the officer.

Officer Bobbitt followed her through several downtown streets before she parked in a space near the Simon Theater. The officer could see the woman’s left hand was bleeding profusely and he called for a deputy to help him with the call.

Terri Lee Foster failed a field sobriety test and she was arrested.
