Congratulations to the Burton track teams for getting to the state meet and for doing so well. I would also like to commend the parents for encouraging their kids to compete and for all the time spent checking grades, commuting to practices and meets and for supporting the coaches. To the coaches, you must be great mentors. Your teams compete and win in track, football, volleyball, baseball, softball and cross country. Along with the academic successes on state mandated exams and the college readiness success it appears Burton ISD continues to be one of the top public schools in the state.
Go Big Red!
