STATUE STOLEN FROM DOWNTOWN BRENHAM
Brenham Police are investigating the theft of a downtown tribute to the mascot of the Brenham Fire Department.
Thursday afternoon around 1:00, Sgt. Justin Schiller was notified that someone had stolen the statue of Belle that was placed at the entrance of Belle Alley.
The statue of Belle, the fire department’s Dalmatian was dedicated in August of 2009,
The estimated value of the statue is $500.
The incident is under investigation.
