THEFT AND BURGLARIES BEING INVESTIGATED

  

Brenham Police are investigating a theft and two burglaries—all involving motor vehicles.

Early Tuesday, morning, Cpl. Todd Ashorn responded to the 700 block of Jackson Street in reference to the theft of a rim and tire.

The caller said someone stole a rim and tire from his Dodge Challenger.

Ashorn reports it appears the suspect was scared off before he was able to take any more tires.

Monday night, Officer Mark Pierce was called to the 2500 block of S. Day St. in reference to the burglary of a motor vehicle.

The caller said he when he got off work he saw the passenger side window smashed and the door partially open. He side the center console was open but nothing appeared to be missing.

Monday afternoon, Pierce was dispatched to the 600 block of Sheely St. to another burglary of a motor vehicle.

The caller said he had parked his vehicle across the street from his residence on July 4 and returned to it on July 6, and noticed it had been broken into and two cell phones valued at $150 a piece had been taken, as well as a couple of items of clothing that were valued at approximately $250.

All three cases are under investigation.
