Every day before the Country Store at 8:10, KWHI has been celebrating 70 years on air, we’ve been taking a look back at clips from our history.

Today’s clip is from our continuing tradition of bringing live play-by-play coverage of the Brenham cub football games.

There’ve been many exciting games over the past 7 decades, but one of the most memorable was the dramatic 1986 2nd round playoff game against Belton.

Playing in Kyle field, the clip from today features Randy Reets describing the final minute of the game.
