‘TRIBUTE TO GEORGE STRAIT’ TO CELEBRATE 16TH ANNIVERSARY OF FAYETTE CO. MUSIC CLUB

Derek Spence will headline this month’s 16th Anniversary of the Fayette County Country Music Opry with a “Tribute to George Strait”.

The show is happening Monday, February 20th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in La Grange.

Dereck Spence is an original Texan, born in Nacogdoches. He earned a degree in Performing Arts Production from South Plains College. Spence has performed everywhere from Fiesta Texas to the Grand Ole Opry.

During his time spent at the Grand Ole Opry, he shared the stage with folks like Shania Twain, Diamond Rio, Kenny Rogers, Trisha Yearwood, Mark Chesnutt, and Restless Heart. While in Nashville, two major record labels turned him down because they said “You look too much like George Strait”.

The look and vocal talent have helped Derek become the top “George Strait Tribute Show” in America.

Doors open 5:30 and the show starts at 7:30 P.M.
