TURNAROUND AT US 290 AND HWY 36 TO REOPEN SOON

  

The turnaround at the west side overpass between US 290 and Highway 36 in Brenham is set to reopen soon.

The turnaround was closed for repair due to erosion on the top wall. According to TxDOT Brenham Area Engineer, Mark Shafer, all repairs have been finished and now the last concrete pour is set to take place as soon as possible. As soon as the current rainy weather subsides, the pour will take place and the turnaround will be ready to be reopened.
