TWO ARRESTED LOCALLY ON MARIJUANA CHARGES
Two people have been arrested on separate charges of Possession of marijuana.
19-year old Chanlin Quinn Edwards of Houston was arrested after a traffic stop late Thursday night in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea St.
During a probable cause search, marijuana was located in Edwards’ backpack. He is charged with Possession of marijuana.
20-year old Alonica Nichele Boyd of LaMarque was arrested Thursday afternoon.
Boyd’s car was pulled over Thursday around 3:00 p.m. in the 2400 block of Highway 290 East.
A search turned up marijuana.
Boyd is charged with Possession of marijuana.
