TYLER MAN ARRESTED FOR D.W.I. IN BRENHAM
A Tyler man faces a DWI charge after his arrest in Brenham.
Thursday morning at 4:30, Sgt. Joseph Merkley and Cpl. Lance Weiss observed a vehicle travelling the wrong way on Highway 290 East.
Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped in the 1800 block of Highway 290 West.
The driver, 43-year old Jerry Dean Green Jr. of Tyler Texas, was determined to be Driving While Intoxicated. Investigation also revealed that Green has a previous conviction for Driving While Intoxicated and there was also an open container of alcohol located inside the vehicle.
Green was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 2nd Offense with Open Container and was transported to the Washington County Jail.
