WALLER CO. FAIR KICKS OFF TONIGHT

  

The 2017 Waller County Fair kicks off tonight at the fairgrounds in Hempstead.

The Waller County Barbeque Cookoff gets underway tonight at 6:00; there will be wine tasting at the Wine Garden; the Ladies Ranch Rodeo begins at 7:00; the BARNditos will jam in the Rodeo Tent at 9:00.

The Fair parade is set for tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 10:00 in downtown Hempstead.

Among the Saturday events are: Ag Mechanics judging at noon, the talent show at 1:00, Barbeque awards at 4:00.

The dedication and opening ceremonies are set to begin tomorrow night at 5:30.  The fair queen and court will be announced along with the Little Mr. and Miss.

Entertainment tomorrow night includes: Jason Cassidy, Shennandoah and Wade Bowen.

Events continue throughout the week at the fairgrounds in Hempstead.
