WALLER MAN ARRESTED IN BRENHAM ON THEFT/DRUG CHARGES

A Waller man faces theft and drug possession charges after his arrest Friday evening.
Just before 6:30 Friday night, Officer Heather Sowders was called to Wal Mart to a theft.
The caller, an employee of Walmart, said they had 40-year old Cristian Blaine Spinks of Waller detained for shoplifting.
The employee said Spinks had taken a jacket and set of boots, put them on and walked out of the store with them.
He also advised the subject had said he needed to take his medicine.
During a search, Sowders located two baggies containing crystal methamphetamine.
Spinks is charged with Theft Between $50 and $500 and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
