WASHINGTON COUNTY CONSOLIDATES VOTING SITES FOR SPECIAL ELECTION

  

Washington County Commissioners have approved the consolidation of polling places for the December 6th special election for State Senator.

There will be eight polling location open on that day.

Precinct-1 will have voting for boxes 101 and 109 at the Friedens Church of Washington; while boxes 104, 115, 117 and 121 will vote at the Washington County Events Center at the Fairgrounds.

In Precinct-2, box 203 will vote at the Chappell Hill Museum; while boxes 202, 205 and 208 will vote at the Brenham Junior High School Band Hall.

Voting in Precinct-3 for boxes 307 and 316 will take place at the Scout Hut (also known as the Rock Room) at Firemen’s Park; while voting for boxes 311, 312 and 320 will take place at Berlin-Mill Creek-Zionsville Fire Department.

And in Precinct-4, voting for boxes 406, 414, 418 and 419 will take place at the Blinn College Student Center; while boxes 410 and 413 will vote at the Burton Community Hall.

Polls will be open on December 6th from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Early voting will take place at the Washington County Courthouse Annex from Wednesday, November 26th thru Tuesday, December 2nd.

Five candidates are vying for the post, including State Representative Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham.
