WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR QUEEN CANDIDATES ANNOUNCED

  

The Washington County Fair Queen candidates were introduced Monday evening at a ceremony at the Fairgrounds.  The five candidates will be selling season tickets to this year’s Fair as part of the competition for 2015 Fair Queen.  The candidates this year are:

Ashley Bentke representing the Brenham High School Anchor Club

Caitlyn Counsil representing Brenham FFA

Paige Fischer representing Washington County 4H

Kendall Smidovec representing Washington County 4H

And McKenna Wiesepape representing the Brenham Cub Band

The Fair begins this year on Friday, September 11 with the Bar-B-Q cook-off and Pitch Tournament.  The Fair Queen will be crowned Saturday the 12th at a ceremony under the entertainment pavilion.  Season tickets are available from the Queen candidates for $25.  The season pass price increases to $30 if you wait and buy them at the gate.  A video of each candidate introducing themselves can be seen below.
