BRENHAM CLINIC ADDS NEW STAFF MEMBERS
The Brenham Clinic has announced the additions of two new members to its staff.
Physician Assistant, Mark Asmussen & new Family Nurse Practitioner, John Nepveux are joining the clinic staff.
Asmussen is a Texas native who received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and completed the Physician Assistant Program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Allied Health.
Asmussen began his career in the Houston area, spending eight years in the surgical subspecialties of neurosurgery and cardiovascular surgery.
As a Physician Assistant, Asmussen will be involved with patient histories, physical exams interpreting routine laboratory data, assessing injuries, diagnosing and treating illness.
Nepveux brings 35 years’ experience in critical care settings to the Clinic, including 10 years as a Family Nurse practitioner providing care for local ER patients. The long time Washington County resident comes to the Brenham Clinic from Innovative Emergency Services.
John received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. He is board certified in Family Practice by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
