BRENHAM PD REPORTS WEEKEND ARRESTS FOR INJURY, CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE POSSESSION, THEFT WARRANT

  

Brenham police reported six arrests between Friday and early this (Monday) morning.

Kaden Guerrero

Shortly after 10:15 p.m. Friday, Sergeant Tiffany Anderson conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of South Austin Street for driving with no headlights when required.  The driver was identified as 17-year-old Kaden Guerrero of Brenham.  After police conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, Guerrero was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, 4-400 Grams, and Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz.

On Saturday, just past 8:45 a.m., Officer Brayten Rolling executed an arrest warrant in the 200 block of Shephard Lane.  21-year-old Jason Dewayne Heard Jr. of Brenham showed to have three active Capias-Motion to Revoke Probation Warrants, including two for Possession of Marijuana Under 2oz. and one for Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.  Heard was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.

Around 6:15 p.m., Sgt. Anderson, Officer Mateo Guillen, Officer Eric Crosby and Officer Trinten Rolling conducted a warrant service in the 700 block of Fairview Avenue.  On scene, 40-year-old Jessica Underwood of Brenham was taken into custody for a felony warrant out of Washington County District Court for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1/1-B, 4-200 Grams.  Underwood was booked into the Washington County Jail.

At 6:30 p.m., police officers and deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare concern in the 1700 block of Highway 105.  Upon completion of their investigation, 28-year-old Aaliyah Wheatfall of Washington was placed into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Less Than a Gram, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, 4-200 Grams, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 2, Less Than a Gram, and Public Intoxication.

Dylan Emil Gilmore

A few minutes after 6 p.m. Sunday, Officer Trinten Rolling and Sgt. Anderson responded to the 4000 block of Highway 36 South in reference to an assault.  After investigation, 25-year-old Dylan Gilmore of Prairie View was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail, where he was booked for Injury to a Child/Elderly/Disabled Individual with Intentional Bodily Injury.

Just after 2 a.m. today, Officer Guillen, along with Sgt. Anderson and Officer Trinten Rolling, conducted a warrant service in the 2100 block of Tison Street.  Officers made contact with 40-year-old Jason Mabry of Brenham, who had an active warrant out of Washington County for Theft of Property $100 - $750.  Mabry was taken into custody and booked for his warrant at the Washington County Jail without incident.
