POLICE ARREST BRENHAM WOMAN FOR ASSAULT

A Brenham woman has been arrested on an assault charge, as well as outstanding warrants.
Wednesday morning, around 7 a.m., Corporal Ashley Burns responded to the 900 block of Weldon Trace Drive, in reference to a disturbance.
Investigation revealed there was a verbal argument that turned physical.
32-year-old Jasmine Shautie McDonald of Brenham was located and taken into custody on a charge of Assault Causing Bodily Injury, as well as three active warrants.
McDonald was taken to the Washington County Jail.
