BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD DENIES GRIEVANCE APPEAL MONDAY

  

The Brenham School Board voted to deny a grievance appeal after a closed executive session at noon today (Monday).  The Level 3 grievance was the only item on the agenda for the special meeting.  Although no details were released about the grievance, Brenham ISD did release the following statement after the meeting:

“Today the Brenham ISD board of trustees heard a Level III grievance appeal and voted unanimously to affirm the decision of the Administration and deny the grievance appeal. Although we cannot comment on details regarding this specific situation, we can assure the public that Brenham ISD follows campus administrative policy and district board policy. Any concern brought before the district is carefully and thoroughly investigated and the same was true in this situation. As always, we remain committed to providing an exceptional education for all of our students.”
