BARNHILL CENTER ANNOUNCES EVENTS FOR 2ND HALF OF 2019

  

The second half of 2019 will feature five live evening performances and two family events at The Barnhill Center at Historic Simon Theatre.

Brenham Tourism and Marketing Director Jennifer Eckermann says “The upcoming events are filled with more live music, legendary stars, magic, comedy and family fun.”

Eckermann says the center has been, “trying new things and listening to audiences through questionnaires.”

Tickets will go on sale this Monday for a baseball-themed family movie event on Friday, July 26th.  The Sandlot feature film will be shown on the big screen, along with games and a ballpark lunch.

Shinyribs will perform on Saturday August 17 at 7pm.  Sharon Brass, booking representative for The Barnhill Center says it is “outrageous fun.” Tickets will go on sale July 15th.

The Comedy and Magic of Harry Maurer show will bring family entertainment to Brenham, September 28th.

Texas music icon, Gary P. Nunn will perform Saturday, October 26 at 7pm.

The Local Legends show, on November 16 at 7pm, will feature a group of local performers who have worked together for several decades.  Performers in Local Legends are: LouLou Barbour, Allison Crowson, Charlie Kelm, Pat Kelm, Payton Kelm, Neil Kulhanek, Fred Lockett, Paul Murski, Sam Murski, Mark Pollard, David Reynolds and Robert Zeintek.

The Gatlin Brothers will return with their special Country & Christmas show on Friday, December 6 at 7pm.

A Home Alone family movie event will the end the 2019 season on Friday, December 13 at 6pm.
