CHILD IN HOSPITAL AFTER NEAR DROWNING IN WALLER CO.
Medical officials in Waller County rushed a 3-year-old girl to the hospital after a near drowning Thursday night.
According to the Waller County Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers received a call shortly before 7:45 p.m., concerning a child found at the bottom of a pool at a home on Atlas Cedar Drive in Waller. Medical officials estimated the child was down for at least 15 minutes.
When first responders arrived, the child was said to have a pulse. She was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
