RAILROAD CROSSING REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR NEXT WEEK AT PLEDGER, WAULS LEGION ROADS

A pair of Washington County roads will be partially closed through part of next week for repairs at railroad crossings.

Officials with the Washington County Road and Bridge Department said Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway will be fixing crossings at Pledger Road and Wauls Legion Road.  Completion of the work is expected to take several days.

Pledger Road will be closed next Monday through Wednesday between Highway 36 and Old Gay Hill Road, while Wauls Legion Road will be closed between Old Gay Hill Road and Glenblythe Road from next Tuesday to Friday.

Railroad crossing work is also scheduled the following week at FM 390 West, between Muery Road and Wolf Creek Road.  That work will take place August 5th and 6th.

Drivers will be detoured around the work areas.
