BRENHAM’S BRIGGS COMPETES AT REGION CROSS-COUNTRY MEET

Brenham High School was represented Monday at the Region III Cross Country Championships.

The Cubs' Garrett Briggs ran in the 5A Boys race.

Briggs ended up placing 83rd out of 182 runners with a time of 18:29.7. 

According to Coach Morgan Doyle, Briggs was aggressive from the start (5:10 for the first mile) and held on to the finish.

Doyle says, “Everyone should be extremely proud of this young man and his accomplishments this season.”
