  1. I expect the police to continue to arrest law breakers and no let them run omok hurting people and stealing, thinking ” I can get away with it at this time” break the law and go to jail as always.

  2. What is the Sheriffs Office/Jail doing about protecting the inmates who already have health problems such as heart, lung, and asthma problems as the police are still arresting people daily?

    1. Seems the health and well-being of the law abiding public takes precedence over jailed criminals, and rightfully so.

      1. The health and well being of the inmates directly impact the community. You can’t have incubators for the virus, which is what prisons are. Employees go in and out into the community. If someone is arrested for a petty offense and get exposed, they risk spreading it when they are released.

No one should be put into a jail right now for nonviolent offenses.

    2. So just because you have health problems you should be allowed to commit crime and then what? Be released because you might get exposed in jail? How about don’t commit the crimes so you don’t end up in jail them you don’t have to worry about it?

      1. No, you can’t release violent criminals, but protecting the health of the prison population is important to the health of the community so you can’t just take the simple minded approach of “well they should have thought about that before committing crimes.”
