BURTON CITY COUNCIL TO REVISIT DISASTER DECLARATION AT EMERGENCY MEETING THURSDAY
The Burton City Council will hold an emergency meeting tomorrow (Thursday) to renew the city’s declaration of a local state of disaster due to the public health emergency of COVID-19.
The original declaration, signed last Friday by Mayor David Zajicek, lasts for seven days and will expire Friday. The renewal, if approved, would go into effect tomorrow.
The renewal is the sole item on the agenda.
