BURLESON CO. TAX OFFICE CLOSED AFTER COVID-19 EXPOSURE

The Burleson County tax office has been closed to the public after an instance of COVID-19 exposure.

Burleson County Judge Keith Schroeder said the office closed to the public on Tuesday after an exposure to the coronavirus.  The office is expected to reopen on Monday.

Schroeder said the county is working with its health authority to make sure everything is done to keep staff and the public safe.

In the meantime, a drop box is available to use outside the office, and staff members can be reached by phone.
