BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD TO NAME LONE SUPERINTENDENT FINALIST TUESDAY

  

Brenham ISD is preparing to make an announcement on who will be the next head of the school district.

Tomorrow (Tuesday), the Brenham School Board will meet to name a lone finalist in the district’s superintendent search.  The district began its search in May, after previous Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson announced he would be filling the superintendent vacancy in La Porte ISD.

The district received 48 applications for the position, narrowing down to six finalists earlier this month.  School administrators conducted a series of finalist interviews last week.

The school board will meet tomorrow evening at 5 p.m. in rooms 111 and 113 at Brenham High School.  Seating will be limited, as social distancing guidelines will be followed.  The public will be able to listen to the meeting on YouTube.
