COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS JAIL/EMS HAZARD PAY
Hazard pay for County Jail employees and EMS field staff is on the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting of the Washington County Commissioners’ Court.
Commissioners are considering the use of COVID-19 relief funds for a one-time hazard/recruitment payment.
Also on Tuesday morning’s agenda is the discussion of renewing the contract with the State Attorney General’s office for the Statewide Automated Victims Services Maintenance Grant.
The grant assists Texas counties in promoting public safety and supporting the rights of victims of crime. The contract is in the amount of $18,571.12.
Also on Tuesday’s agenda:
A proclamation for Sept. 8 through Oct. 31 as the official period for Washington County READ.
Approval of purchasing lights and a welding rig for the Fairgrounds facility.
And the approval of a final plat for the Green Acres subdivision fronting FM 109 and Hall Road.
The meeting is set for Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse annex.
