WORK BEGINS MONDAY ON BUSINESS 290, BUSINESS 36

  

Drivers on Business 290 and Business 36 in Brenham will need to be mindful of construction crews starting Monday.

A TxDOT contractor will begin mill and inlay work Monday on Business 290 and Business 36, from FM 577 to Highway 290.

The construction will include work on sidewalks, ramps, lighting, and pedestrian amenities.

Drivers traveling in the area should expect delays, obey all traffic control devices, and watch for workers and their equipment on the roadway during construction.

The project is contracted to Knife River Construction for $2.7 million, and is expected to take approximately six months to complete, weather permitting.
