BURTON ISD TO HOLD BOND INFORMATION MEETING WEDNESDAY
Burton ISD will hold an informational session this (Wednesday) evening to further discuss this fall’s bond election.
The community meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Burton High School auditorium.
Administrative staff will discuss the projects included in the $43.8 million bond proposal and take questions from the public.
The bond will include various academic and athletic projects like adding and renovating classrooms, renovating fine arts facilities, upgrading the cafeteria and kitchen, creating an enclosed connection for district buildings, adding a new competition gym and stadium, and performing various site and drainage improvements.
Residents who wish to participate in the November 2nd bond election have until October 4th to register to vote.
