An estimated 2000 people attended the Texas Arts and Music Festival this past weekend in Downtown Brenham.  One of the things different this year was the art duel.  Event organizer, Brad Stufflebeam, comments about this unique event:

On the music side, Jordan Young played Saturday night and closing out the festival Sunday in front of the newly finished mural of Blind Willie Johnson was The Mighty Ork:

Also this year, the Brenham High School Art Club completed a mural on the building at 106 West Commerce Street.  The smaller mural is of Bluebonnets and is painted with glow in the dark paint that will glow at night.

The student painted mural designed by Brooke Trahan.
