BAYLOR SCOTT & WHITE EXTENDS DEADLINE FOR EMPLOYEES TO RECEIVE COVID-19 VACCINE

  

Baylor Scott & White Health has pushed back its deadline for personnel to get vaccinated for COVID-19.

Baylor Scott & White said in a statement that the vaccination deadline for employees and providers has been extended to November 15th.

The original deadline was October 1st.

In the statement, Baylor Scott & White said it is “committed to protecting patients, colleagues and communities through our fully vaccinated workforce policy.”  It added that as of October 13th, 99 percent of the system’s workforce is in compliance.

The healthcare system did not specify the reason for moving back the deadline.

We remain committed to protecting patients, colleagues and communities through our fully vaccinated workforce policy. As of Oct. 13, 99% of our workforce is now in compliance. We are focused on closing the gap and have decided to extend the employee and provider vaccination deadline to Nov. 15.

  1. Why? This should not be terms of employment!
    What is BSW going to do this a mass walk out? There is already huge shortages in the health care industry. Wake up people and hold your ground!
    “We the people” had been forgotten!

  2. Is BSW going to be held liable for vaccine injuries by forcing their employees to get the shot?
