SAUNDERS FILES FOR RE-ELECTION TO BRENHAM CITY COUNCIL; FOUR TOTAL FILINGS

  

The second incumbent has declared candidacy in the May 6^th Brenham City Council election.

Ward 4 Councilmember Adonna Saunders has now filed for re-election to her seat, which she has held since 2019. 

Saunders joins Ward 2 Councilmember Albert Wright as incumbents seeking another term. 

Mayor Milton Tate is not running again, and there will be a contested race between Ward 3 Councilmember Atwood Kenjura and Keith Hofmann to fill the position. 

Filing continues through February 17^th for the mayor, Ward 2 Council and Ward 4 Council seats.  For the Ward 3 seat vacated by Kenjura, candidates can file between February 2^nd and March 6^th.
