BODY FOUND IN VEHICLE OUTSIDE BRENHAM RESTAURANT; NO DANGER TO PUBLIC REPORTED

  

Washington County authorities are investigating after the body of a man was found Saturday morning outside a local restaurant.

According to Washington County E-911 Director Robyn Hood, dispatch received a call at 7:45 a.m. about a vehicle in the parking lot at the restaurant, located in the 2900 block of US 290 West.

First responders arrived shortly afterward and found a person deceased in the vehicle.  The person was identified as a male in his 60s.

Hood said there is no indication that there was or is a danger to the community.

Agencies that responded include the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, EMS and Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Harold C. Riddle. 

No other information was available regarding the cause of death or if the body had sent for autopsy.
