A fundraiser benefitting fine arts in Brenham ISD is set for tomorrow (Thursday) at the Ant Street Inn Ballroom.
The Brenham ISD Education Foundation’s 18th Annual Arts and Appetizers will showcase and auction off numerous pieces of artwork from emerging student artists from elementary up to high school. Doors to the Ant Street Inn open at 5:30 p.m., and the live auction begins at 6 p.m. There will also be a silent auction.
Education Foundation Secretary Courtney Mason says the event gives back to Brenham’s art students and programs.
This year’s Arts and Appetizers will have a Texas independence theme, highlighting the history of Brenham ISD and Washington County.
Education Foundation President Wende Ragonis Anderson says seeing how the local community supports participating students at the event is very rewarding.
Online bidding and donations can be done at www.brenhamisd.net.
