FAITH MISSION SMART-CARE KIDS TAKE PART IN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Faith Mission’s SMART-CARE Kids recently participated in a three-day leadership program.
The “Talented Twelve Leadership Academy” was held Wednesday through Friday. Through the program, participants studied the six principles of training boys to become men through Rev. Randy Wells’ book ,“Few Fathers”.
They were also introduced to Spanish and Swahili languages and learned table etiquette and social skills in College Station, Houston and Austin.
SMART-CARE stands for Science, Math, Art, Reading and Technology - Cultural Academic Recreation and Enrichment. This is the 17th year of Faith Mission’s partnership with Brenham ISD to serve local youth and help them reach their full potential.
