CUBETTES GO 2-1, BURTON DROPS THREE AT WEST WOOD TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Cubette and the Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Teams are both taking part in the Round Rock West Wood "Warrior Showcase" Tournament.

The Cubettes' portion of the bracket are taking part in matches at Cedar Ridge High School. In the first match of the day, the Cubettes beat Clear Lake 2-0 (25-17 and 25-23).

In the second match of the day, Brenham beat the Liberty Hill JV 2-0 (25-17 and 25-10).

New Braunfels beat the Cubettes 2-1. Brenham won the first set 25-17, but then New Braunfels won the next two sets 25-16 and 25-19.

Meanwhile, the Burton Lady Panthers are taking part in matches being held at Stony Point High School in Round Rock.

In their first match, the Lady Panthers lost to Klein Oak 25-19 and 25-8.

Then, in their second match, Burton lost to Antonian 25-16 and 25-11.

Pflugerville beat the Lady Panthers in their final match of the day 25-19 and 25-18.
