BRENHAM TENNIS DEFEATS RUDDER IN DISTRICT PLAY 11-8

The Brenham High School Tennis Team successfully defended their home turf as they defeated Bryan Rudder 11 matches to eight matches this past Tuesday in District Play.

For Boys' Singles, Sam Clepper and Aidan Keller picked up victories for Brenham. Keller won his match 8-0, while Keller won his match 8-5.

For Girls' Singles, Brenham got wins from Jordi Phillips, Kinley Kroll, Paige Marth, and Stevie Donnell. Phillips won 8-3, Kroll won 8-5, Marth won 8-4, and Donnell won 8-2.

In Boys' Doubles, Austin Pfeffer and Aidan Keller picked up an 8-6 win.

In Girls' Doubles, Jordi Phillips and Briar Kalkhake won their match 8-5, Annalee Sawyer and Kinley Kroll won their match 9-7, and Paige Marth and Stevie Donnell won their match 8-3.

In the lone mixed doubles match, Bryce Casey and Kyla Garcia got an 8-5 victory.

Next up, the Cubs and Cubettes will be hosting Lake Creek on Tuesday afternoon at 4pm at Brenham High School.
