BURTON LADY PANTHERS SWEEP FAYETTEVILLE 3-0

The Burton Lady Panthers picked up three set sweep over the Fayetteville Lady Lions this past Friday night.

Burton won the sets 25-22, 25-9, and 25-22.

Aerynn Huntsman led the offense with 15 kills, and on defense, she was second on the team with 19 digs. Reagan Roemer finished with 21 digs. Amaya Williams added 12 kills and 12 digs. Paige Fritsch dished out 39 assists.

The Lady Panthers now travel to Round Top-Carmine for a match tomorrow (Tuesday) night against the Cubettes. The JV begin things at 5pm, followed by the Varsity afterwards.

Burton is now 21-13 on the season. This will be the second meeting between the two schools this season. They had previously met in the finals of the Schulenburg Tournament with RT-C getting a 2-1 win.
