BRAZOS VALLEY GIVES FUND RAISING DRIVE BEGINS
The 5th Annual Brazos Valley Gives fundraising drive is now underway.
Brazos Valley Gives is an on-line fundraiser, which is put on by the Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley.
Of the course of the next 30 days, the annual event will help to raise money for non-profit organizations over a seven-county region in the Brazos Valley.
Those seven counties are Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Leon, Madison, Robertson, and Washington.
Brazos Valley Gives will culminate with an 18-hour period of online giving on Tuesday, October 17.
Last year, donors raised $1.17 million and contributed 9,760 volunteer hours in support of 161 non-profit organizations.
This year’s goal is to raise $1.25 million, and to surpass 165 participating non-profits.
